Anthony Bourdain's Latest Project Is an Online Travel Guide
Anthony Bourdain has shared his opinions on everything, from financial advice to politics to the perfect scrambled eggs. Now, he's channeling his energy into one of his passion that made him famous in the first place: travel. Condé Nast Traveler reports that the that the TV host announced a new website called "Explore Parts Unknown" that, as you'd expect based on its namesake, expands upon his CNN show, Parts Unknown.
The site is divided into four categories—Eat, Drink, Know, and Go—and dives into the details of the show, making it a prime resource for the ultimate Bourdain fan. As Traveler notes, the site is a joint venture from Bourdain, CNN, and Roads&Kingdoms, the latter of which he is an editor-at-large and an investor. "It's not a guide to the entire world," Roads&Kingdoms co-founder Nathan Thornburgh told Traveler. "It's just where Tony's been."
Bourdain told Traveler: "I couldn't be more proud or excited about this amazing passion project finally coming together. What Roads&Kingdoms and CNN have done and will do together enriches and expands on Parts Unknown in thrilling new ways with infinite possibilities." The site will officially launch tomorrow, April 5th, with new content published every Thursday before a new episode of Parts Unknown on Sunday.
