The Studio at 3 Elements

"Our gatherings are some of the most powerful, open-hearted events, many proud, awe-some moments! Our on-going monthly Sacred Feminine Awakening-Womb Blessing events have become some of my favorite times in The Studio ..."

Wanderlust Weekly: Congrats on the growth of 3 Elements! What inspired its creation? Carla Bosnjak: My brother created 3 Elements about 14 years ago. I joined in with the addition of The Studio space almost 5 years ago after leaving the world of downtown experimental theater. I wanted to create an art/yoga/meditation community center and combine all that I was passionate about. My sister who is also a yoga teacher helped me create and open the space...it's a real family business. We are passionate about connection, consciousness, empowering, supporting, enriching ourselves and others! And we knew we could do this with a full offering of holistic practices. There is no black and white, no one way to heal. We wanted to incorporate our favorite things to offer our community. Things that help us heal...Massage, Acupuncture, Natropathy, Frequency Healing, Yoga, Meditation, Art, Music, Poetry, Reiki, (just to name a few) we wanted to be a one-stop-shop for all things holistic. In our space we have the quote from Bruce Lee on the wall "A teacher is never a giver of truth; he is a guide, a pointer to the truth that each student must find for himself". And sometimes we find truth in the drawing of a picture and sometimes it's in a yoga class. We provide the safe space for you to figure it out.

Wanderlust Weekly: You've built a strong community following in New York, what are some of your proudest moments? Carla Bosnjak: Our gatherings are some of the most powerful, open-hearted events, many proud, awe-some moments! Our on-going monthly Sacred Feminine Awakening-Womb Blessing events have become some of my favorite times in The Studio. The gathering of women, the healing of the collective feminine spirit, the impact this healing has on our community is amazing. As a new mother to a daughter myself, this really resonates deeply with me and it's become some of the most rewarding work I do. Also our experimental workshops and events. The things that go beyond the easy and comfortable are also what I am proud of. Having someone exhibit art who is deathly afraid to. Seeing the look on someone's face when their art is hanging in our walls and the moment they realize they are true artists. It's healing, it's cathartic for all. Our open heart-expression nights where I've been able to bring a bit of my experimental theatre roots to Bayside. We have an open mic for our community and an open heart so they can share their talents in a supportive space. Anything from sharing a poem, a song, a monologue, a dance, a story. We've had real talent emerge from our space!  My brother has the half of the healing arts center that is the yang. My space is definitely the yin. The supportive womb of creativity.

Wanderlust Weekly: The wellness field is constantly evolving, what upcoming news or developments can we look forward to? Carla Bosnjak: "If you want find the secrets of the universe you have to think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration". (Nikola Tesla) We've been creating a lot of events/workshops with our Plasma Frequency Healing Technology. We've been incorporating this technology into more of what we do. It's been profound using it and allowing it to be the inspiration for many workshops/events to come! We are doing our best to give you your health in your own hands. Whole, happy, people.  Helping to create a community of healthy body, minds and spirits. (It's how you change the world) We love co-creating so we continue to grow and change but keep the mission of health, wellness, awareness, togetherness and the open heart!  [ learn more ]
